A fortress city of the ancient Incas, in a high saddle between two peaks circa 50 miles (80 km) NW of Cuzco, Peru. The extraordinary pre-Columbian ruin, 5 sq. Miles (18 sq. Km.) of terraced stonework link by 3,000 steps; it was virtually intact when discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911.

Patagonia

Snow has arrived earlier than usual in the winter sporting centers of Patagonia. The start of the season this year in the middle of June means that the dreams of the ski fanatic have been realized. And the other winter activities can be experienced as well.

The weather is always unpredictable, however this year it is very favorable for ski conditions. Already there is a lot of snow, and especially the most sought after powder. Patagonia is ready for your skis.
